Solutions
I can't create an account.
Solution:
Make sure your browser allows JavaScript and cookies to be used.
We recommend deleting your browser's cookies and temporary internet files and then close all your browsers and try signing up again. (Note: Mac users should use Safari or Firefox for the best browsing results.)
If for some reason your email address is already registered, please click the forgot password link to have the password of the account reset and sent to you.
If you have tried all of the above and you were not able to resolve your issue, send us an email describing how far into the account creation process you were able to complete as well as the error you received.
I can't log into my account.
Solution:
Make sure your browser allows JavaScript and cookies to be used.
Make sure that you are logging in with the correct password and username. (Note: Your user name is the email address you used to create your account.)
Clear your browser's cookies and temporary internet files and then try logging in again. (Note: Mac users should use Safari or Firefox for the best browsing results.)
Geoglog may delete profiles if they violate the site's Terms and Conditions. Make sure your profile wasn't deleted by doing the following:
Find your profile on the site. The best way is to find emails sent to you from Geoglog with your profile URL if you never deleted them. You can also find yourself by doing a search on your contents tag you have uploadded. Look for comments you posted on your friends profiles.
The fastest way to resolve the issue is to perform the above steps. If you have gone through the above steps and still cannot log in, you can contact us here.
I forgot my password.
Solution:
Retrieve your password by clicking forgot password link and following the instructions.
You will need to enter the email address that we have on file for your account. We'll then reset and email your new password to that address.
I forgot my username.
Solution:
Your username to login to your Geoglog account is the email address you used to create your account.
How do I change my password?
Solution:
Make sure you are logged into your Geoglog account.
If you are not on your homepage, click MyHome at the top navigation menu of any Geoglog web page.
Once on your personal homepage, click on "Account" (it's found at the upper left portion of the page, just below from your picture).
Click on "Change Password".
Enter your old password, your new password, confirm your new password and click "Change". You can now log in using your new password.
How do I change my personal information?
Solution:
Through "Edit Profile" you may change your name, screen name, and/or add to the information on your profile.
Start by making sure you are logged in.
Click on "Home" at the top navigation menu from any Geoglog web page.
Once on your personal homepage, click on "Account," appearing at the upper left portion of the page, just below from your picture.
You will be taken to your "Edit Profile" page where you may edit or add information.
Is Geoglog free?
Solution:
Yes! Every feature and function you currently see on the site is FREE. Geoglog is supported solely by advertising. All the features and functions you have currently been enjoying on the Geoglog site will always remain FREE!
